Startup’s journey to date: In 2018, my subwoofer-building hobby shifted to business intent after an experimental, novel subwoofer enclosure concept yielded astonishing results. I built a scaled-up version which exceeded high expectations for infrasonic output but addressed a very niche, limited market, as discovered through primary market research. In 2019, I built four more unique designs, all exhibiting the brand value proposition of more efficient, lower frequency extension, creating a series that addresses different venue market segments. I named/trademarked Sonofinity and created our first website. Our first live demonstration/trial began in February, 2020, in Lizard-Lounge(Dallas), providing excellent validation via candid reactions and direct feedback. I had scheduled a few warm/hot leads for demonstrations before the big shutdown. We moved our subs to Dickies-Arena(FW) during shutdown. A year later, they accepted a proposal for $198k of subs, as did the FW-Museum-Omni-Theater next door for $96k. Also within the shutdown/recovery era, I redesigned the series and website. April, 2023, we sold a $25k sub to Rusty-Nickle-Ice-House(FW), based on a 2022 demonstration in Bodega(FW). Our demo fleet showcased in ten live music events locally, earning ticket and rental revenues. We’ve had several demo inquiries and rental opportunities nationwide, but lack the necessary investment capital to pursue them.
