We connect patients with pharmacies that have the medication and can fill prescriptions right away.
We are the Uber Eats for pharmacies. Geographic limitations and competition prevent independent pharmacies from attracting new patients. Conversely, there are 40 million people in the US who live in a pharmacy desert, while over 16 million people stop taking their medication each month because they cannot find a pharmacy that has the medication they need. That’s why at Prescription Quest; we connect patients with pharmacies that have the medication and can fill prescriptions right away. Patients get access to the medication they need so they can start their treatment, while pharmacies get access to a new pool of patients.
Our service is free for patients, but pharmacies pay a monthly membership fee of $250 to receive 50 prescriptions from our patients each month. Pharmacies sign a 1-year contract that automatically renews each year, and the fee is due semi- annually.
In May 2022, my then 6 month-old son got sick. I took him to the doctor who prescribed Tylenol suppositories. The doctor sent the prescription to a Walgreens pharmacy just across the street. But the pharmacy told us they did not have the medication in stock. We called other nearby pharmacies, but none had it. So, my wife asked if there was a way to check online which pharmacies have the medication. The next day, I found out Wegovy and 240 other drugs were in short supply and millions of people were looking for them. I convinced two local pharmacies that I can help them get patients. I created a landing page where users could fill out a form telling me the medication they are looking for and I’d connect them with a pharmacy that had the medication in stock. We’ve helped patients fill over 2,000 prescriptions since then.
