“I am an art conservator who was fed up with the negative environmental impact of my day job. I started Ki Futures as a nonprofit (Ki Culture, existing sister organization) and realized that it could be scaled and made profitable. The programming was piloted in 2021, launched in 2022 and incorporated as a separate business in 2023.
We currently work within the cultural sector, offering solutions for niche, systemic issues in the sector. Our Climate Control program (featured in the NYT) is helping museums cut their energy consumption in half and is running internationally.
After proof of concept, we are ready to expand our services and our markets. I am looking to build an international empire for SaaS – sustainability as a service. Similar to the boom of the health and wellness industry in the 80s and 90s, sustainability is the next level in self-care and the next big market.
Our team consists of myself as the cultural expert, Ethan, our CTO, bring Founder experience along with technological vision, and Catriona has a background in sustainability and business.
We are currently looking for funding to develop the edtech side of the company and partners to support expansion into other markets.”
