“I lost my job in 2020. Two years later I decided to pivot my information technology skills into software development. During that journey I discovered the absence of Nigeria games in the 200 billion dollar global video game industry. Nigerians play a lot of foreign games. My core team member is a graphics designer colleague from a previous job and others are freelancers. I have built a prototype to validate my idea and the numerous feedback I got helped in developing the Minimum viable product. These are the milestones and projections. Product Development commenced – May 2022 Prototype developed – July 2023 Registration as a limited liability company – Jan 2024 Received Project i2m grant of N850,000.00 – Nov 2023 Received Tony Elumelu Foundation grant of $5,000.00 – Feb 2024 MVP developed – May 2024 MVP product launch on google playstore (Version1) 2024 May MVP (version 1A) August 2024 (Due date) Commercial launch with advertising and promotion July 2024 (Due date) MVP (Version 1B) December 2024 (Due date) I need funds to build the versions 1A and 1B before embarking on a full market launch”
