Startup Journey
My passion for stopping human trafficking became personal when my sister was nearly kidnapped as a child. I later served as Florida’s Anti-Trafficking Coordinator, where I witnessed firsthand the horrors of trafficking. I realized the key was cutting off trafficker’s financial lifelines, which is why I believe in Dark Watch. We started by partnering with the DoD and Homeland Security, proving our tech could dismantle trafficking rings by exposing their illicit financial flows. Now, we’re bringing that same power to banks like Frost Bank and Wells Fargo. Our platform provides real-time risk monitoring, automated due diligence, and expert support – everything banks need to stop trafficking and stay compliant. We’re seeking partners who share our vision for a world without human trafficking.
Go-to-Market Plan
Target market is mid-market banks, which are vulnerable to exploitation by traffickers. Regional banks lack the systems and dedicated compliance teams found in larger banks, making them easier targets for illicit financial activities. We will deploy a scalable solution through various channels to combat financial crime and ensure regulatory compliance.
Potential Exit
Dark Watch’s exit strategy includes possible acquisition by industry giants like LexisNexis (who’ve shown prior interest) or tech companies like Google building anti-financial crime tools. Private equity’s appetite for compliance firms also offers a strong exit path.
